ADP is hiring a 401(k) Systems Business Analyst. In this position you will provide technical systems support to TotalSource clients who have adopted the TotalSource Multiple Employer Plan (MEP). Responsible for systems enhancements, process development, interface testing and support within 401(k) team. Provides product knowledge and analysis, with the ability to initiate change to support business objectives and meet market demands. Research and resolve issues related to the systems used to support the ADPTS MEP 401(k) Plan ensuring compliance with government regulations and laws promulgated hereunder. Develop and maintain effective communications to ensure participant satisfaction on issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts structured analysis according to standardized procedures and prepares detailed analysis documents that serve as input into the creation of program specifications, test plans, user and system documentation.
  • \r\n
  • Documents, tests and implements interfaces on multiple platforms.
  • \r\n
  • Develops business requirements and functional specifications for systems interfaces to insure KSG and ERISA requirements are met.
  • \r\n
  • Assists with complex issues and projects related to interface implementation.
  • \r\n
  • Conducts QA and testing of interfaces and other projects as necessary, presenting final results to users and impacted areas to obtain sign off
  • \r\n
  • Provides user-oriented, subject matter expertise input into the design and development of new processes and Plan features.
  • \r\n
  • Develops and documents design alternatives to satisfy user, business, statutory and system requirements.
  • \r\n
  • Presents alternatives to users and impacted areas to facilitate design decisions and gain consensus
  • \r\n
  • Provides information and explanation to users and support functions within the TotalSource environment.
  • \r\n
  • Provides assistance by troubleshooting and resolving problems and explores opportunities for system enhancement and improvement.
  • \r\n
  • Maintains a broad knowledge base encompassing the evolving TotalSource application product set.
  • \r\n
  • Works on projects; assists management in project tracking by providing regular, comprehensive status reports on work progress, effort, etc. relative to deadlines.
  • \r\n
  • Reconcile weekly 401(k) contribution file to general ledger, submit wire request
  • \r\n
  • Weekly reconciliation of payroll adjustments
  • \r\n

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

\r\n
    \r\n
  • BA/BS in Business Administration (or equivalent in education and experience).
  • \r\n
  • 2 - 5 years experience 401(k) plan administration and management.
  • \r\n
  • In-depth knowledge of DOL and IRS regulations, multiple employer plan issues and ADP payroll.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  • CEBS/ASPPA and/or other pension related certification a plus.
  • \r\n
  • Experience with programming or systems analysis.
  • \r\n
  • Experience developing complex spreadsheets in Excel and interfacing with Access and Visio. Advance MS Office skills.
  • \r\n
  • Knowledge of defined contribution and financial products.
  • \r\n
  • Project management - ability to manage multiple projects directly related to responsibilities.
  • \r\n
  • Attentive to details and strong prioritization/time management skills.
  • \r\n
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels effectively within and across the organization and in a multi-site environment.
  • \r\n
  • Bachelor's degree
