Are you interested in selling the world’s most complete HCM portfolio of products to the largest, most respected strategic accounts in North America?  We are hiring highly-strategic Application Sales Managers who will develop and expand sales of Oracle’s industry leading Human Capital Management portfolio.  You will be joining a veteran team of sales people who sell directly to the largest Strategic Accounts that Oracle has.


The ideal candidate has the following traits:

·       Experience in developing and closing complex sales cycles.  Experienced individual contributor selling applications packages to large, complex strategic accounts.

·       You quickly develop trust amongst both mid-level and senior management.

·       Skilled at working in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

·       A background or deep familiarity with some form of Human Capital Management, Global HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Workforce Rewards or Workforce Management.


Most of all you, possess a highly developed selling style, where your customer relations and negotiation skills shine.  You effectively communicate with C-level executives and line of business representatives.  A track record of consistent success is what we’ll find when looking at your background.

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience including 9 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
