Description: \r\n \r\n "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN\"\r\n \"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd\">\r\nThe Compliance Lead will provide regulatory interpretation; develop and implement compliance auditing and monitoring strategies; design, implement and coordinate necessary compliance trainings; and assist in maintaining the compliance program for ADPIA to supports our clients, including our Carrier Partners, ADPIS Senior Management, Legal, Service/Operations and Sales.\r\n\r\nKeep abreast of state regulatory changes; research, interpret and evaluate state regulations, advisory bulletins and DOI notices. Serve as a Liaison with ADP Legal and HR departments and \r\nfunction as the central repository and dispersal point of compliance and ethics information in a manner that is easily understood by Associates. Provide support to Legal for DOI inquiries, participate in Associate investigations and provide recommendation for non-compliant Associates. Work with Legal to create, amend and review compliance policies as needed\r\n.\r\n\r\n

Provide guidance to all Associates with regard to obtaining and maintaining state insurance licenses. Monitor licenses of all Associates who are required to maintain insurance licenses. Produce monthly reports, including management of monthly license audit and associate license reporting. Manage all agency producer appointments and affiliations with carrier partners and DOIs. Conduct quarterly audit of Associates' appointments for continuous states and communicate results to Associates and senior leadership.

 Design, update, oversee and coordinate, provide guidance and deliver mandatory compliance trainings (NHCT and Booster) to all new Associates, Pay Associates and veteran Associates. Monitor that all Associates have completed the trainings, and provide weekly/monthly reporting on Associates who are out of compliance. Prepare reporting/tracking of Associates completion and provide weekly updates to senior leadership. Oversee, coordinate and deliver mandatory HIPAA and other ADP trainings to all new Associates, veteran Associates and Pay Associates. Monitor that all Associates have completed the trainings and provide weekly/monthly reporting on all Associates who are out of compliance.

 Utilizing extensive knowledge of ADP internal systems, procedures, products and services and perform random audits of sales and operations files to ensure that all transactions are conducted in keeping with carrier requirements, and insurance laws and regulations. Produce monthly reports to reflect results and provide monthly reports to senior leadership. Conduct quarterly file review meetings utilizing trends to conduct analysis that help drive best practices, and improve quality, and ensure adherence with agency requirements and foster improved client experience.

 Provide compliance support for product changes and any territory expansion.

\r\n\r\n

 Coordinate and facilitate various initiatives as required by Corporate and produce reporting that are designed to provide updates to senior leadership

 Within the compliance department there are US and India based associates. These are less tenured compliance associates for whom the US Analysts are responsible for developing SOPs, training and backing up as necessary. The interaction with the India Associates varies primarily depending on the level of the Analyst.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\r\n\r\n

Conduct monthly random file audits for Sales/Implementation/Service to determine that each sampling has performed according to state, carrier and agency documentation/process requirements. Produce monthly reporting to reflect results.

\r\n\r\n

 Deliver File review (Quality) results during quarterly review meetings. Discuss trends and observations. Provide required steps to bring issues into compliance. Resolve appeals, drive improved process and quality

\r\n\r\n

 Monitor licenses of all associates who are required to maintain an insurance license, including management of monthly license audit/Expirations and associated license reporting. Work with Legal and HR to ensure disciplinary actions (written warnings and commission removal) for unlicensed sales in accordance with licensing policy.

\r\n\r\n

 Manage all agency and producer appointments with carrier partners

\r\n\r\n

 Design, update, oversee, coordinate, provide guidance and deliver mandatory internal compliance training to all new and Pay Insurance associates. Monitor that all agency related training requirements are met. Produce weekly/monthly reporting on associates out of compliance. Manage annual corporate policy recertification for the Agency. Work with Legal to create, amend and review compliance policies as needed.

 Manages at least one department project and participates in various other department projects regarding compliance and/or quality control. Involvement in development of all compliance systems. Team Lead would be expected to write Business Requirements for review with IT Support/Development, participate in SIPOC & Process Mapping reviews.

\r\n\r\n

 Advises Sales force by answering inquires that focus on compliance issues, primarily around DOI product changes, state specific WC & H&B rules (i.e., Owner/Officer rules), Licensing, etc. Serve as the interface between Associates and various DOIs. Team leads are expected to do more technical research and interact directly with Legal.

\r\n\r\n

 Interaction with Compliance India -- training and acting as backup for tasks, including maintenance of Compliance database in AOS. Act as resource for projects that have been transitioned to India. Team Leaders are primary point of contact for collaboration of process/procedural changes, and monitoring for errors

\r\n\r\n

 Performs other related duties as assigned. Team Leads -- new initiatives requiring project management skills (i.e., Doc Management for QBMS/TRUDI (Sales tool)

\r\n\r\n

 Participate and provide input in Sprint Reviews/ Demos and Grooming Sessions. Provide information and input necessary to assist IT development of logic and upgrades for QMBS/TRUDI, and participate in testing of logic in QBMS/TRUDI.

\r\n\r\n

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  • 8 years extensive experience in in Insurance Compliance, Training Development, Regulatory Affairs, Auditing Recordkeeping and/or Administration, People and Project Mgmt. Skills 
  • \r\n
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience with a Major Area of Concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance or HR
  • \r\n
  •  Licensed in Property/Casualty and/or Health and Life
  • \r\n
  •  Demonstrates strong oral/written communication skills.
  • \r\n
  •  Organized: ability to juggle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Works mostly independently but as work-groups during critical deliverables.
  • \r\n
  •  Demonstrates strong inter-personal skills. Specifically skilled presentation, coordinating and facilitating meetings and phone calls, and bring issues to resolution amicably.
