ADP is hiring a Director, Communications. In this role you will be responsible for the design and distribution communications and management of strategic programs. This person plans and creates strategies, tactics, activities and materials to drive leader and associate engagement. This position manages both planning and execution of content with the goal of increasing the effectiveness and increasing associate engagement in our Worldwide Sales and Marketing strategy. He/She researches, writes, and edits internal communication documents. The Director, Communications manages the timing and flow of communications to associates and managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the comprehensive communications strategy and supporting programs.
  • \r\n
  • Design a communication process and execute a plan to ensure consistent reinforcement of the strategy and key drivers supporting it. Develops plans to engage both leaders and front line associates, and partners with BU operations leaders to align messaging and approach.
  • \r\n
  • Develop clear and concise communication plans, draft communications, coordinate review and approval processes and seek legal review when applicable for a wide variety of communications.
  • \r\n

  • Partner with sales operations leaders, marketing, corporate communications and project leaders to create innovative communication options that integrate messaging, graphics and branding to inspire associate reaction. Leverage various communication vehicles to create energy, momentum and awareness with associates.
  • \r\n
  • Coordinates and manages the internal ES Sales portal through the lifecycle (planning, design, development, testing, implementation and production). Ensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories and events) is posted regularly.
  • \r\n
  • Manages WWS Programs, including The Voice of Sales. Develops plan and process to ensure Worldwide programs are effectively managed within our sales organizations and results are tracked and reported to leadership.

  • Works closely with executive management and directs the efforts of leaders requesting targeted and mass communications.
  • \r\n
  • Provide guidance to individuals and project teams to produce effective client communications strategies in accordance with established documentation standards and style guides.
  • \r\n
  • Conceptualize and develop new and interesting methods of communicating with associates and partners. Tracks and measure the level of effectiveness of all communications
  • \r\n
  • Introduce industry best practices and recommendations for process improvement in the areas of internal support communications which may include, but are not limited to, bulletins, newsletters, FAQs and web-based content.
  • \r\n

  • Gathers information from end users to evaluate objectives and goals. Makes recommendations
  • \r\n
  • Integrates artwork, text and other mediums in a design format appropriate for the client.
  • \r\n

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

\r\n

 

\r\n
    \r\n
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred.
  • \r\n
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in a fast paced environment managing the overall planning and delivery of internal communications
  • \r\n
\r\n

 

\r\n

 

\r\n

\r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering for communication plans
  • \r\n
  • Ability to facilitate elaboration sessions with subject matter experts
  • \r\n
  • Knowledge of advanced concepts, principles, practices and techniques of writing and developing communication and documentation materials.
  • \r\n
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • \r\n
  • A solid command of business communication tools and strategies, including internal social media.
  • \r\n
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational & teamwork skills.
  • \r\n
  • Effective listening and communication skills.
  • \r\n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • \r\n
  • Effective analytical skills.
  • \r\n
  • Effective PC skills including desktop publishing, Word, PowerPoint.
  • \r\n
  • Graphic design experience beneficial.
  • \r\n
