LOCATION: You must work daily in our Florham Park or Roseland, NJ office to be considered for this role.

ADP is hiring a Manager Sales Operations -- Sales Coverage and Analytics. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the sales analytics, strategic operations and reporting functions within the Down Market Sales organization (SBS, HRO & RS). In conjunction with centralized Sales Operations, Finance and IT, the Manager will help develop optimal sales coverage support model, full-scale analytics and reporting packages and tools to support the targeted Sales growth in the Down Market segment of ADP. Partners and consults with Sales Leaders (both Field and Operations) and provides recommended solutions to key day-to-day operations and long-term business vision. Fosters the use of analytics and data in support of decision making and sales strategy. Ensures best practices and tools are implemented across the supporting Sales BU. Drives integration and alignment across various functions and departments within the Sales organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps/leads development of sales coverage and analytics framework for decision making regarding industries to target, market segmentation, staffing levels, etc.
  • Partners with central sales operations to support quota allocation methodology and tools
  • Develop dashboards and reports to drive the sales performance and improve territory management.
  • Coordinates with central sales operation on the design and roll out of tools, Tableau analytics, and coverage analytics.
  • Performs special projects as assigned, and has some Project Management background



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Candidate should have a BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
  • 4-5 years experience in either sales, sales analytics or financial analysis in a corporate environment, including 12 months of experience in sales operations.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Strong understanding of data analytics and financial analysis as well as a history of engaging with leadership.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint and be proficient in Microsoft Access or similar database tool.
  • Prior Sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior use of Salesforce.com, Tableau and Cognos are a plus
  • Relationship building, both within and outside of the supporting BU
  • Be able to work in a team environment, partner with key stakeholders and diligent work ethic
