The Oracle Data Cloud (ODC) is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven sales and partnership professional to join the TV Solutions team.


This strategic role is responsible for helping grow Oracle’s TV audience and analytics business to solve for needs across our large diverse base of advertiser, media and platform clients. Ideal candidates must have experience in television and data and possess a combination of critical thinking, business development and strategic sales skills. Candidates must also possess outstanding communication skills and be able to successfully work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a larger organization.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify and close new revenue-generating opportunities with partners and clients (cable and satellite operators, data partners, advanced TV platforms, connected TVs, broadcasters, cable networks, advertisers, agencies and others..) that contribute to ODC’s rapidly expanding TV capability.

Lead the negotiation of expectations, terms, conditions, pricing and licensing of data and analytics products and services with these new partners and clients.

Contribute to the strategic and operational planning, direction and positioning of our team and products.

Champion ODC TV’s leadership and evangelize the sales effort for all types of Advanced TV throughout the ODC organization and its advertiser and agency clients to build and scale this new and critical business.

Develop marketing initiatives and  participate as a senior-level leader at industry events and function as an expert on all ODC data products and services

Develop presentations as needed to support new business and opportunity reviews with internal teams

Build effective consultative relationships and deliver on high customer service with clients and partners throughout the deal-making process.

Work across multiple business units within Oracle, and work closely with cross-functional teams and executives ranging from sales to data science to product to engineering and support.


Skills & Qualifications

8 years track record of winning new business/sales and partnerships within TV, online video and digital media.

Strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the media and tech ecosystem.

Deep knowledge of Advanced TV advertising, audience targeting, measurement, digital video, display, mobile, social, DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, key players and key trends in our space.

Understanding of how to work with TV planning and buying platforms, data partners, media publishers,  ad networks, and agencies.

Proven track record of developing strategic business relationships, structuring creative and successful partnerships and taking them through to close.

Demonstrated results orientation: consistent delivery of revenue targets and business growth

Strong energy and drive: self-motivated, focused on the bottom line, persistent.

Organizational agility: communicating effectively, culturally savvy, managing up, down, laterally, entrepreneurial mindset that drives and is adaptive to change while working within the framework of an established larger business.

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical and strategic thinking skills

Experienced engaging with executive decision makers. Strong executive presence, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred

NY location strongly preferred

Ability to travel up to 40%

Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Facilitates the development of strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Alliances and Channel standards. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills. Prefer 8 years of related experience with a secondary education in Marketing or a related field.
