Responsible for providing leadership to the key account sales team including, but not limited to: developing overall strategic sales framework, forecasting results, allocating goals/quotas, establishing accounts or individual sales responsibilities, performance management, etc. Typically assists in closing the largest and most complex deals. Responsibilities may be defined by named accounts, geography, product/solutions, channel, or some combination thereof. Recruits, retains, develops, coaches, motivates, and generally manages multiple sales resources to attain/exceed defined business objectives such as revenue, market share, profit, etc. Responsible for obtaining business in near term and building foundation for continued profitable revenue growth over the long term.

Lead and direct key account sales representatives with operational focus on multiple accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Accountable for and contributes significantly to profitability and/or cost containment through direct P&L responsibility. Coordinates activates and direction through highly matrixed relationships. Requires collaboration and operational execution with other Oracle business or external entities. Personal objectives typically defined as a "roll-up" of all key account sales resources reporting to the key account sales leader. Develops short/medium and long term plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve strategic objectives/results. Accountable for revenue related to named key accounts, geography, product/solutions, or some combination thereof. Develop deep customer knowledge and influence through forging executive relationships across all Oracle lines of business, increasing Oracle s reputation as a proven partner, increasing customer satisfaction and Oracle revenues and footprint within the Key Accounts and/or region

Exceptional negotiation skills and account relationship management. Extensive expertise in product, technology, service, strategy and business complexities. Cross regional or international team management experience a plus. Strong team building skills and ability to resolve conflict situations. Preferred BS or BA degree in business. Masters degree is a plus. Ten or more years people management experience.
