Description:

ADP is hiring a Sales Effectiveness Manager.

The Sales Effectiveness Manager is responsible for diagnosing, analyzing, developing & managing Sales Tools and Messaging that align with the Business Unit's strategic goals and objectives. This individual will be responsible for proactively working in partnership with the BU sales leaders & field associates, as well as a variety of cross-functional Global WW Operations associates to help identify gaps and inefficiencies that impact sales and work towards driving solutions that address their needs. This portfolio of sales productivity assets will play a key role in driving efficiency & effectiveness in the sales process lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for coordinating with the BU Operations and Sales Leadership teams to develop enablement tools that drive field effectiveness. Assets include, but are not limited to, a wide range of sales support tools from ROI calculators, mobile apps, buyer engagement solutions, diagnostic tools, sales engagement platforms, sales asset management systems & demos. These tools will be packaged, presented & aligned with specific stages of the sales process.
* Manage large scale projects for tool development and delivery to the field while managing a team of internal and external resources in a timely manner in order to meet specific field related deadlines and goals.
* Focused on identifying, analyzing & managing the creation of sales tools that align with the Challenger Selling methodology and are mobile ready. This includes spending time in the field on sales calls, team meetings, as well as running focus groups to determine the appropriate level of sales support required to drive sales efficiency & effectiveness at each stage of the ES sales process.
* Able to create disciplined processes while preserving the ability to move rapidly. Can balance BU specific requirements, while creating universally accepted and scalable solutions.
* Possesses the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment of continual change. Must be to able drive change among key stakeholders.
* Responsible for staying up-to-date and relevant with leading sales enablement & sales automation trends from inside and outside ADP. Must be able to present new ideas, pilot, measure and analyze results and effectively communicate/introduce new selling tools to the field across the ES sales organization.
* Understand business processes re-engineering & recommend changes to improve sales productivity.
* Work with business unit leadership to prioritize and sequence needs.
* Establish schedules & work with business unit leadership to communicate & coordinate initiative launches.
* Present best practices establish by other business units & drive standardization & simplification.
* Coach & mentor team members.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
* Travel Required - 30% Domestic

Education:
* BS degree in Marketing & Business Administration or equivalent education & experience.
* MBA or advanced degree a plus

Experience:
* 3-5 successful sales experience is a plus.
* President's Club winner preferred
* Must possess strong background & knowledge of ADP product & solution portfolio
* Ability to work with our supporting technology & process improvement initiatives
* Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge of sales process & sales methodology effectiveness
* Experience working in matrix managed organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
