Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.



Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

This role will help Oracle customers on initiatives centered around data privacy, identity/access management (IAM), and simplifying enterprise data/lifecycle management. Sales Specialist will focus on the sale of on-premises enterprise technologies that are designed to help customers protect against cyber security threats, strengthen regulatory compliance, and safely scale. Responsibilities including working in regular cadence with other field technology sales, consulting, and engineering counterparts to deliver customer value and exceed an individual revenue target of $10M. Will be prospecting and executing on strategic new business working with senior executive stakeholders within Oracle s Key Account, Enterprise, and Named customer base.

Partners with Accountand Technology sales representatives to qualify and close new business within Oracle s Security and Enterprise Data Management product portfolio. Provides specific industry and product expertise to close deals within sales territory. Collaborates with technology sales counterparts to discover, develop, and execute new business to achieve revenue target. Prospects and consults with industry professionals on enterprise security, privacy, identity, and data management initiatives. Articulates the value of differentiated and mature license technology solutions that help customers adopt a centralized and fully integrated approach to IT security, governance and manageability throughout the enterprise. May provide training to field sales and management technology counterparts on specialty overlay solutions and driving customer value. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.

Strong presentation and consultative selling experience is important to success in this role. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers is a must. Moderate travel in this field role is expected. BA/BS degree in related field is a plus.
