Job Details

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).







Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.







Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. 12 years applicable experience including 9 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Reporting into the VP of Retail Partnerships, you will be the rock star hero who makes Oracle Data Cloud an indispensable part of the day to day marketing efforts of the biggest and most innovative brands in the retail space. You will enrich our most important data asset for the Oracle Data Cloud by encouraging and signing on new retail data contributors to our data spine. You will be the key strategist in identifying the data gaps and development of the contribution pipeline.







You will identify the key decision makers and influencers both in marketing and CRM at the brand level. You will collaborate with the entire retail team which includes enterprise, mid- market and specialty retailers in identifying the opportunities for expanding the footprint and -selling the solutions to the brands that requires them to be a part of the data collective. We need a results driven hunter who is more than just a sales person; a solutions consultant with versatility and substance who happens to be wired for going after big wins and has a track record of closing them.

*NEW BUSINESS ACTIVATION* Research, engage and activate new business ranging from top retailers to specialty retail brands, working with them directly to become members of our data collective.







*STRATEGIC PLANNING* Identify key data gaps and data needs that will support the entire Oracle Data Cloud data spine.















*REVENUE GROWTH*Generate revenue growth by selling solutions that require the retail brand to be a member of the data collective.







*TEAM COLLABORATION* Work with a group of colleagues from solutions, operations, analytics and other disciplines, both leading and supporting, drive ongoing growth.















*ENTERPRISE ADOPTION* Work in supporting to ensure our products, strategies and solutions permeate a client s business moving us past strategic partner























*Desired Skills & Qualifications*







INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE- 10 years of experience in the marketing services sector with demonstrated success in using data-rich digital and traditional solutions to improve brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention and profitability for retail clients. Data Cooperative experience is a plus.







SALES SUCCESS: A proven track record of success in enterprise engagements resulting in consistent delivery of big wins and closes.















RETAIL EXPERTISE: Retail domain expertise and relationships-great network of retail clients and former clients. A solid understanding of the challenges and options available to retail marketers.























MULTI-CHANNEL SAVVY: An understanding of the key players within various digital and traditional marketing channels, and the ability to ideate data and analytics strategies across them.























CUSTOMER FOCUS: Believes that revenue results from helping clients meet specific needs, not from having the best product or pitch. Focused on the client s goals & perspective, committed to customer wins, differentiating through you first approach.
